            The squirrel must have died from natural causes. It's body, though flat and stiff, did not appear to have been hit by a train. Bacteria and fungus had decomposed most of its face and body, leaving spotted areas of crusty red blood where fur had been eaten away. A black, hardened eye, seemingly elevated out of its socket, focused on nothing."
